The focus for this role will working in-field as part of our planting team in our Vegetable Production Unit.

The job

We are looking for a field worker to plant our lettuce and broccoli crops.

• Based in North Canterbury (90 mins from Christchurch and 60mins from Kaikoura by bus)
• 3-4 days per week (weather/crop dependent)
• Free transport to and from work daily from the accommodation (15mins from work)
• Transplant broccoli and lettuce seedlings
• Walk behind transplanter and fix misplaced seedlings
• Assist Planting Supervisor in sorting seedlings onto racks

You will be a team player that enjoys working in a close-knit outdoor environment. You will be motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team, sharing the same respect we do for creating a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will display the following;
