The focus for this role will working in-field as part of our harvesting and planting teams in our Vegetable Production Unit.

The job

We are looking for a field worker to primarily help harvest and plant our lettuce and broccoli crops, however there will be other tasks within our Harvest team when required.

• Based in North Canterbury (90 mins from Christchurch and 60mins from Kaikoura by bus)
• Averaging 30-45 hours, 5-6 days per week (weather/crop dependent)
• Free transport to and from work daily from the accommodation (15mins from work)
• Transplant broccoli and lettuce seedlings
• Walk behind transplanter and fix misplaced seedlings
• Hand harvest lettuce and broccoli crops, placing onto a conveyor belt
