Job Title : General Farmhand - Tractor Driver
Hourly Rate : $28 per hour
Contract Type : Permanent, Full-Time
Location : 13 minutes from Rolleston
Start Date : Just before Christmas

Hours of Work

• 42.5 hours per week, 8 hours per day (may vary)
• 6 days a week
• Flexibility required to start early or work late when needed

Job Skills Required

• Tractor driving experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and reliable
• Strong communication skills
• Physically fit to lift 20kgs or more
• Interest in learning and working in a rural setting

Job Tasks

• Moving  irrigators in the morning
• Operate tractors for various farm tasks (trailer work, spreading, and spraying fertilisers like Urea)
• Drive alongside a harvester and cut grains
• Use motorbike with a small spraying unit for various tasks
• Perform general farm duties, including washing and maintaining tractors

Additional Responsibilities (Seasonal)

• Stock work during the winter time

Eligibility
