Strawberry Planters 2026 - (3 weeks – 11th May to 30th of May - Fixed Term)

Position Overview

We are seeking local reliable and physically capable Strawberry Planters to assist with the seasonal planting of strawberry plants.  We are located 1.5 hours north of Auckland.  This job is only open to applications from NZ Citizens or Residents, and to people with valid work visas.

Hours of Work

Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and plant availability.

• Rosters may include Monday through Sunday
• Employees can expect to work approximately 5–6 days per week
• Start times and workdays may vary and will be communicated on a daily basis (typically the day prior)
• Flexibility is essential

Please note: Strawberry plants are grown at ground level, and this role requires frequent bending for extended periods.

Key Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual labour (including bending, lifting, and kneeling)
• Ability to bend for extended periods
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently and methodically
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (wet weather gear provided; personal gear may also be used)
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work schedules

Full training will be provided to successful applicants.
