We are looking for 2 seasonal workers to assist our Research & Development team located at our vegetable seed research station in Pukekohe (South Auckland) for about 4 months, starting in early January 2024 until May 2024. For most of this period we’ll have work for approximately 40 hours/week.

The primary tasks consist of harvesting and packing onion bulbs from our experimental plots in our Pukekohe and Matamata nurseries. Transport out of town and accommodation (where needed) are covered by the company. Other duties include seed cleaning, bulb processing, clipping & sorting.

We are looking for flexible, reliable and efficient workers with an interest in plant breeding and horticulture. You will need to pay attention to detail and have the ability to work under summer weather conditions, which means you’ll also need to be physically fit.
