Darling Horticulture is seeking a dedicated Avocado Orchard Worker with machinery operations experience to join our team.

In this role, you'll be involved in various aspects of avocado cultivation, from operating machinery to maintaining and harvesting our orchard.

This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our orchard operations.

• Operating Machinery: Proficiently operate a variety of equipment including tractors, diggers, mowers, hydraulic lifts, chainsaws, and more.
• Fruit Harvesting: Efficiently pick and harvest avocados.
• Orchard Maintenance: Perform essential tasks such as pruning, tying down branches, and mulching.
• Irrigation and Fertilization: Manage spraying, fertigation, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal orchard health.
• Planting and Mulching: Assist with planting new trees and applying mulch as needed.

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Orchard Worker with experience in machinery operations to join our team located in the Far North.

This is a fixed term position, guaranteed 32 hours until the end of January 2025.
