Description
We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual to join our team in a hands-on support role. You will be a key assistant in our RSE (Recognised Seasonal Employer) program, helping to maintain high standards of wellbeing and facility care for our seasonal workers.
This role is fixed-term from 16 February to 31 March 2026.
The Role
This is a varied "all-rounder" role that supports the lead Pastoral Care person. You will balance practical cleaning with staff support:
• Orchard Facility Hygiene: Assisting with cleaning and maintaining orchard facilities, including staff blocks and common areas, to a high standard.
• Logistics & Driving: Operating a company van for staff transport and errands.
An advantage would be experience in driving vehicles with a manual transmission.
• Communication: Providing a supportive presence for our RSE staff. This requires excellent English and strong communication skills to ensure everyone is well-informed and supported.
The Hours: High Flexibility Required
While our standard window is 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, the nature of the orchard season means things don't always happen on a schedule.
We need someone who is truly flexible and available to help outside of standard hours (evenings or weekends) if an urgent staff need or transport requirement arises. If you value a rigid routine, this role won't be for you—but if you love a role that adapts to the day’s needs, you will thrive here.
