We’re looking for a Quality Technician to join our Nelson team for the upcoming season. This is a seasonal role commencing ASAP for approximately 8 weeks.

In this role, you’ll be based in the orchard, checking for pests, diseases, and assessing the quality of the apples. You will ensure that all fruit meets the specifications required for both local and global customers. You’ll be responsible for conducting quality assurance inspections and communicating any issues to our Quality leadership team.

About You

• Previous Quality Control experience, ideally in the fruit industry (but not essential as we can teach you what you need to know)
• Full driver’s licence essential
• Strong communication skills and a proactive working style
• Confident with computer and numeracy skills
• Understanding of orchard operations would be an advantage
