Come join us as a Quality Controller in one of New Zealand's largest and newest cherry packhouses.

Cherry Partners LP require Quality Control Team Members to be a key part of the cherry grading process in our Packhouse. We are adding this later shift for our busiest few weeks of the year.

Key tasks include but not limited to:

• Sampling and testing of in process and final product
• Collaborate within the Quality Control Manager to conduct efficient and consistent box checks
• Verify box weights and label accuracy
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-compliance, and corrective actions taken during the packing process.
• Taking over from the morning shift smoothly.

About you:

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify small defects or quality issues
• Ability to work independently and impartially, ensuring an objective approach to quality assessments
• Good communication skills to liaise with orchard staff and management
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, particularly during peak packing periods
• Strong record-keeping and reporting skills
• Must have your own accommodation and transport to our packhouse
• Must have valid working rights in New Zealand, we are unable to sponsor visas.

Must not be colour blind. Must be able to attend an eye test in Cromwell.
