We don't have accommodation on-site, plenty of pickers in the past have stayed at College house or Anndion lodge.

Positions available 

Berry picking (Picking positions available are raspberries, small number of strawberries)

We pick standing in trolleys, which doesn't provide any stresses on the body, but does require moving ones hands very quickly.

Our entire strawberry & raspberry crop is covered so rain days don't occur, whilst weather affects strawberry quantities available for picking (long days following good sunshine), crop maintenance work is available for good workers if pick finishes earlier than expected after cold weather).

Pay-rate tiers

Starting $23.15

Competent $23.50

Bonus 1        $24.50

Bonus 2        $25.50

Bonus 3        $27.50 (Unlikely to reach this speed without berry picking experience)

Bonus 4         $29.50

Work availability 7 days a week, must work at least 1 weekend day, most people rostered 5-6 days a week. Farm works everyday except Xmas day (time & a half boxing day + time in lieu, last season top staff earned $900 inclusive on Boxing day)

Working in tunnels can be hot, especially in the middle of the day

Packhouse positions are available for people who have prior packing experience.

(Onboarding new staff between 1st November & 10th December options available to finish on Xmas Eve, or work through until mid-Feb as work slows down).
