Come & grow with us at Darling Horticultural services, we are looking for Seasonal orchard workers in the western bay of plenty or Katikati area to help with picking, pruning, mowing & caring for our Avocado Orchards.

The Avocado harvest will start in July & we have positions available with competitive pay rates & a guaranteed minimum of living wage this is too good to pass up!

About the Role

Seasonal Orchard Workers play a key part in the overall success of DHS & the Darling Group as a whole. Full on the job training & safety gear is provided so don’t worry if you have no experience. A good level of physical fitness is advantageous as the work is outdoors. You’ll be doing a variety of tasks including but not limited to;

• Picking Avocados
• Pruning and tying down
• Spraying, fertigation, irrigation
• Planting, mulching, mowing
• Operating machinery (including tractors, mowers, chainsaws, etc)

What you’ll bring:

• The ability to adapt, be flexible & learn quickly
• Turn up on time & ready to work both independently & in a team
• Be legally entitled to work in NZ
