Seasonal Nursery person

For our potting season, late September to the end of February 2026

Vibrant Earth is seeking a dynamic, hands-on, friendly person to assist with our potting season.

The role includes preparing the plants for potting, helping make room in the nursery, working on our potting machine putting the plants into their final containers, and lining those plants out on the ground. The role also involves the application of herbicides and weeding gardens.

It is a busy role. A good level of fitness and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

NZ citizen, permanent resident or valid NZ work visa required. We will require you to attend an on-site interview.

Vibrant Earth Nursery is based in Hope, we produce containised ornamental plants for sale to the wholesale trade. We can provide interesting and varied work in a small dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to work with a wide range of ornamental plants.
