Mill Operator – JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a seasonal role for you in the Bay of Plenty from the beginning of November for the pollen season. Approx. 3 weeks.

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasonal worker operating our bespoke kiwifruit pollen mill in November. The Kiwifruit Pollen Mill Operator will be responsible for the operation of our pollen mills, ensuring efficient flower processing & maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires some heavy lifting, a good level of fitness and the ability to problem-solve.

Mill Operator

• Operation of bespoke pollen mill

• Process incoming flowers

• Loading/Unloading dryers

• Refining pollen

Outcome of the Role

• Ensure flowers are milled efficiently

• All health & safety practices and procedures are followed

What we are looking for:

• Valid work permit/ visa required (we cannot accept SSE visas).

• NZ Bank Account and IRD Number required.

• No previous experience required.

• Must be ok with working in a noisy environment.

Details

• November – Maximum of 6 days per week

• Shifts operating from 10am – 8pm or 12pm – 10pm (approximately)

• $26.45/hr + 8% holiday pay

This role is great for people on working holiday visas, locals and anyone who enjoys seasonal work. The role will be based at our mill in Te Puke.
