- This role is an exciting indoor opportunity for a seasonal worker operating our bespoke kiwifruit pollen mill in November.

Shifts available 7 days a week until late November / Early December with shifts operating from 10am – 8pm or 12pm – 10pm at the latest. 

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out various key tasks associated with the pollen processing, including but not limited to:

• Flower reception
• Flower milling
• Drying anthers - anther spreading and oven loading
• Cyclone extraction
• Pollen sieving, weighing, batching and labelling
• Cleaning and water blasting

General Responsibilities

• Use correct pollen processing techniques as instructed by Manager
• Follow the Manager’s instructions regarding the team co-ordination, assist constructively with other tasks in other areas when requested by Manager.
• Actively participate in maintaining a tidy work area
• Have a clear understanding and commitment to PPSI Health and Safety Policy
• Assist Pollen Mill Manager with record keeping as required
• Any other duties as reasonably required
