We are looking for someone who:

• Is able to work within a team
• Enjoys being flexible and adjusting to changes
• Comfortable standing on your feet for long periods of time.
• Excellent attention to detail and hand–eye coordination
• Are able to follow instructions and be aware of safety requirements
• Experience in a packhouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential

The position will vary in the packing shed and will include, grading fruit, packing into punnets, and trays. Will also include labeling punnets, loading buckets of fruit onto grader and loading trays onto pallets.

The season is short and intense only lasting around 7 days. Start date is dependent on fruit maturity but expecting to start around the 20th Feb.

Pay Rate, $24/hr with a bonus of $1/hr if you complete the season.

The orchard is 12km from Motueka therefore personal transport is required.
