Must have a valid working visa.

The Inwards/Outwards Goods Team Lead takes overarching responsibility for the fruit as it arrives at the packhouse and when it departs. The Goods Team Lead ensures the safety of the forklift drivers and provides training where necessary.

Tasks involve but not restricted to:

• Manage the receival of incoming cherries at the packhouse
• Supervise and mentor your inwards team
• Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of products
• Implement and improve processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Organise fruit storage
• Communicate and liaise with internal departments as well as suppliers, transporters and stakeholders to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly
• Provide forklift training to ensure adherence to forklift SOPs
• Operate within health and safety requirements

About you

• Experience in leading a team is required
• Proficiency in operating a forklift
• Ideally you’ve got some experience in a packhouse environment
• Outstanding verbal skills and confidence to communicate with different people
• Ability to work under pressure and think outside the box
• Basic computer/record keeping skills required
• A continuous improvement mindset

Must have a forklift license and be experienced driving a forklift.
