Spring is on its way! We have work available in Opotiki or Te Puke for the Spring/Summer season 

After a cold winter, we are looking forward to the upcoming Spring/ Summer season here at Thompsons! We are taking expressions of interest for people keen to get outdoors making most of the beautiful NZ Spring weather. We have positions available across two sites in the Bay of Plenty: Opotiki or Te Puke (please let us know which region you are applying for). Horticulture experience is preferred but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided.  Ideally you will have a great team spirit, a good level of fitness and the motivation to do well everyday!

Things to know:

• Approx start date early Oct - Mid December
• Hours of work - Up to 6 days per week (weather dependent)
• Pay rate  - starting rate $23.95
• Contracts available - Casual & Fixed term
• This work involves being on your feet for long periods of time
• Work activities can include (but not limited to) bud thinning, flower picking, cosmetic fruit thinning & canopy management
• Limited transport available in the local area (depending on availability)
