We are a large avocado orchard based in the beautiful Kaipara Harbour and are looking for someone to join our harvest team as a QC/tractor driver.

The position involves :

• Checking the harvest teams for quailty of work (checking fruit picked in the bins and checking the trees to ensure fruit isn't missed) and communicating any issues with pickers.
• Driving the tractor/bin trailer to and from the orchard blocks.
• Unloading/loading the bins from/to the bin trailer (with forklift)
• Stacking the full bins (with forklift)
• Completion of harvest documentation
• Daily maintenance of allocated machinery.
• Checking allocated machinery and equipment and reporting any issues to Workshop Manager/Operations Manager.

RELIABILITY !! (critical)
Forklift licence
Tractor driving experience.
Good communication skills
Reasonable level of literacy (for completion of harvest documentation)
Able to follow instructions
Attention to detail
