An exciting, brand-new role has become available for the 2022 packhouse season at Freshco Hawkes Bay!  This role is available to start now.

Freshco has grown both in New Zealand and internationally and is at an exciting phase with plans for major volume expansion in orcharding and post-harvest. Come and join an awesome team and develop your skills within a newly refurbished packhouse.

We are on the hunt for a highly motivated and experienced individual to be our Freshco Procurement, Inventory & Planning Co-ordinator. This is a rewarding role that provides excellent learning and growth opportunities along with a great team environment and a competitive payrate.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all packaging and consumable products SOH and purchases for the Whakatu operations.
  • Ensure that an accurate end of month stocktake is undertaken each month for consumables and packaging items
  • Regularly communicate with suppliers to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship
  • Ensure packaging inventory is correctly setup and administered in SNAP packing.
  • Ensure Packing plans are setup correctly setup in SNAP packing.
  • In conjunction with the Assistant PH Manager schedule bins to achieve the packing plans provided by Exporters
  • Help to manage desired stock levels against production plans set by exporters.
  • To have an ongoing focus on continuous improvement and efficiency through the effective use of people, systems, and processes.
