Scottfresh are intensive growers of vegetable and fresh cut salad crops based in Coastal North Canterbury. Operating from 2 farms, Spotswood and Claverley, we are looking for someone to assist our Dispatch Operation as well as get involved in vegetable harvest.

 

Position Details:

• Start ASAP (Minimum 6 months work)
• Hours 7am – 5:30pm (Harvest Dependent)
• Monday – Saturday (Harvest Dependent)
• Work between 2 farms (Spotswood & Claverley)
• $24.70 per hour

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist Dispatch Co-Ordinator with making of orders for both vegetable and babyleaf
• Use forklift to load and unload harvest trailers, sort orders, and load and unload trucks
• Use a tractor to do in field pickups of product to sort at dispatch
• General dispatch assistant duties, i.e., cleaning of equipment, sharpening knives, quality control, etc.
• Help vegetable harvest teams when required

- Must have an NZ Bank account and IRD number
- Must be eligible to work in NZ
- Ability to lift up to 20kg
- Work is various weather conditions
- Tractor and forklift experience would be desirable but not essential
