About Us: 3 Kings Cherries is a family-owned cherry orchard based in Clyde, Central Otago. We pride ourselves on producing premium-quality cherries for local and international markets. We are now hiring energetic and reliable cherry pickers to join our seasonal harvest team.

Position Overview: As a Cherry Picker, you will work outdoors in the orchard, harvesting cherries by hand into picking buckets. This is physical work that requires good stamina, attention to fruit quality, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick ripe cherries carefully by hand
• Fill buckets efficiently and accurately according to quality standards
• Carry full buckets to collection points
• Follow hygiene and safety rules while handling edible fruit
• Work efficiently to meet daily targets and maintain quality

Skills & Requirements

• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, reach, and lift buckets throughout the day
• Previous fruit Picking and ladder use experience
• Punctual, reliable, and available to work 7 days a week during the harvest window
• Positive attitude and team spirit
• Must follow all health & safety guidelines and orchard policies
• Valid work visa or eligibility to work in New Zealand

Work Conditions

• Outdoor orchard work — weather-dependent (you’ll need sun protection & warm clothing)
• Early starts approx.8 hours/day
• Harvest typically runs from 15 December to early February — flexibility required
• Some time off around Christmas and New Year
• No open-toe shoes — sturdy footwear is a must
