About us: Central Cherry Orchard LP is a young orchard, which was established 2019, in a beautiful part of Central Otago, just 5 minutes from Alexandra. We grow only cherries. With 90% of our being able to be picked from ground level. Then the other 10% requiring the use of our short ladders.
Position Overview:
As a Harvest Supervisor, you will work outdoors in the orchard, overseeing daily harvest operations. This role involves supervising and supporting your team while ensuring all cherry picking activities meet established quality and orchard standards.
Start Dates:
We are seeking four hardworking supervisors with strong communication skills. The position runs from 3 January to 31 January.
Key Responsibilities:

Give clear instructions and communicate well with the team

Keep an eye on how the team is working and help sort out any issues in a positive way

Help train new workers on how to pick cherries correctly and follow orchard guidelines

Share daily updates with management about progress, any problems, and how the harvest went
Skills & Requirements:
- Valid work visa or eligible to work in New Zealand.
- Be physically fit and able to stand, walk, reach and lift buckets each day.
- On time, reliable, willing, and available to work required days.
- Positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Follow health and safety rules and orchard policies.
Working Conditions:
- Outside orchard work (weather dependent)
- Early starts (approx. 8 hours days)
- Closed toe shoes (appropriate footwear is a must)
