Fairview Orchard is a multi-fruit orchard, which means you will work with a wide range of fruit types and gain loads of different experiences throughout the season.

We are a smaller orchard (24 hectares) with our own on-site distillery and cidery, creating everything from our orchard fruit including: Fruit Liqueurs, Schnapps, Slivovitz, Gins, Brandies and Ciders.

We hate seeing fruit go to waste… So we find a home for everything we grow!

We have on-site accommodation available for those travelling in motorhomes or vans, this includes a kitchen, bathrooms, toilets, laundry, living area and Wi-Fi.

We also have a limited number of bedrooms, usually reserved for staff who are committed to stay for the full season… So get in quick if you are keen to have a home base for the Summer!

We are now open for 2025 / 2026 season applications!

Work begins on Wednesday 15th October starting with apricot thinning then moving through to nectarines, peaches, plums, and apples.

Thinning runs until early December and harvest usually starts after Christmas & New Years (so a nice break to explore the area and enjoy the best of a work/life balance).

We are looking for people who can stay at least six weeks, but there’s potential to work right through to April thanks to our range of fruit.

You will get to work with apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines, apples and cherries. We have got them all.

That means you’ll need to be a fast learner, adaptable and ready to work hard.

We are a diverse, multicultural team and encourage a positive, motivated workplace.

You will need to be physically fit, able to climb a 2-metre ladder and lift 18kg when needed.

The ladders are heavy, the sun is hot, the pace is fast, the atmosphere = brilliant.

Accommodation costs:
· Campsites are $12.50 per person per night
· Rooms are $15 per person per night
