Apple Pruners Wanted (6–8 Positions Available)
📍 Lynnford Orchard – Canterbury, NZ
📅 Start Date: 23rd June 2025 | End Date: 1st August 2025
🕒 Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm (weather dependent)

We’re looking for 6–8 motivated individuals to join our pruning team for the winter season. This role is essential in preparing our apple trees for next season’s crop.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Winter pruning of apple trees across our orchard

• Working outdoors in a team environment

• Using tools and techniques provided during training

• Ensuring trees are pruned with precision and care

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Physically fit and capable of outdoor work for full days
✅ Fast learners with good attention to detail
✅ Able to work well as part of a team
✅ Previous horticulture experience is a bonus – but not essential
✅ Reliable and available for the entire contract period

Pay:

• Starting at $23.50/hour + 8% holiday pay

• Higher rates available for those who demonstrate speed, skill, and productivity

Please note: Work is weather-dependent – we do not prune in the rain, so flexibility is important.
