Apple picking positions available with a likely start date between 28/01/26 and 02/02/26, to a season finish in early May 2026.

We are a family owned apple orchard and packhouse situated approximately 2km from Stortford Lodge on the west side of Hastings. An adjacent bus route is available.

Hours of work are 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday with likelihood of a half day or longer on Saturday depending on Harvest conditions.

Remuneration is an hourly rate plus a generous bonus structure designed to reward quantity coupled with quality. Including bonuses, most people would achieve an additional $6 per hour, with the scope to earn more.

Please note you must be able to work in New Zealand i.e. have a current working holiday visa or be a New Zealand citizen/resident (note we cannot employ any overseas person who has an SSE visa).

Golden Oak does not supply accommodation or on-site camping.
