Wratten Orchards Limited is an owner/operated apple orchard located in the Tasman Region, which grows and packs quality apples for international markets. The orchard's are located throughout Motueka and Lower Moutere.

Wratten Orchards is a family oriented, multi-generation, kiwi-owned company that has been supplying apples to market for over 60 years.

We are looking for motivated and physically fit individuals to join our Apple Picking team for approximately 3 weeks starting immediately, for the right picker the employment period could be longer.

You will need to be physically fit with no back, neck, or shoulder injuries, be prepared to work outside in various weather conditions and have a good attitude.

Due to the nature of the work and ladder size, we would prefer applicants over 175cm and physically strong as you will be carrying 20kg picking bags up and down ladders 8 hours a day and up to 6 days a week.

Pay is mainly on contract - per bin picked - providing an incentive to reward output and effort. Bin rates are competitive for ease of picking and consistency of work.

Job Requirements

You must have right to work in New Zealand(Valid Visa, Citizenship or residence).
You must have your own reliable transport and valid drivers licence.
You must be physically fit.
You must follow company rules to ensure the health & safety of yourself and others.
Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual.
Good team worker.
Able to work flexible hours.
Must be able to climb ladder safety.

Must not have any eyesight issues.
