We’re looking for reliable and hardworking orchard workers to join our apple & pear picking team in Lower Moutere, Motueka. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that is essential to producing high-quality fruit. You’ll be on your feet all day, climbing 2.4m heigh ladder, lifting bags of picked fruit, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. This role is perfect for people who enjoy hard work, being part of a collaborative team, and taking pride in the quality of their work.
You won’t need your gym subscription – get fit (and paid) while working for us!

This is the last intake - we need pickers to start on Tuesday 7th April and work until 24th April 2026. 

• Position description: Picking apples to a standard using a 2.4m ladder or platform (machine) picking.
• Rate: $23.95 + 8% holiday pay AND contract (piece) rates. Please note that holiday pay is paid out at the end of the employment term.
• Working hours: Weather dependable. 7.30am – 5pm; (9-hr days). You must be available to work weekends, as we operate 7 days a week during harvest.
