We are a small family business up in the Far North in a small town called Pukenui./Houhora areas. Half hour further north of Kaitaia. My husband is 3rd generation growing watermelons and other crops as well with my older boy stepping up as well.

When it comes to our season which usually starts from planting to harvesting we have work available from September to around February, with Harvesting which is the time we always need extra help. We use a few of the locals that come back every year which is really good for the planting. But being in the far north it's very hard to get reliable people for work and have only WINZ to rely on which doesn't always work out as not very reliable or wanting to work.

We have accommodation available as well. We have done up some nice houses on our farm so its away from the city life of hustle and bustle so very quite and peaceful.
